Dr Sanjog Mekewar

Dr Sanjog Mekewar is a dynamic young Pain physician in Pune who believes in a holistic approach for the effective treatment of Chronic Pain conditions.

He is a Medical graduate( MBBS) from Prestigious B J Medical college Pune and completed his Diploma in Anaesthesia from Seth GS Medical college and KEM hospital Mumbai. He subsequently completed his DNB from BARC Hospital, Mumbai.

Having keen interest in Pain management from the beginning of his career, he pursued Full time One year Fellowship in Interventional Pain management from D Y Patil University, Navi Mumbai.

Throughout his Academics, he was a meritorious student. His constant desire to learn and integrate latest technologies in the field of medicine introduced him to the field of Interventional Pain Management, which is a relatively new branch of medicine in India and is a super-speciality which treats an array of Chronic pain conditions using advanced interventional procedures.

He is among the few Practicing Physicians who is proficient in both Fluoroscope guided and Ultrasound guided interventional procedures which help him in giving Targeted treatment. His area of interest is Regenerative medicine and Neuromodulation which find application in all types of Neuropathies and Degenerative conditions of the body.

Presently, he is Visiting Pain Consultant at Sahyadri Hospital, Pune. He is regularly Invited as Faculty at various State and National Pain Conferences.
